ReviewColorful, practical, and comprehensive, this 10-piece cookware set from Rachael Ray covers all the bases for stovetop cooking, from boiling pasta to sautéing chicken to simmering a marinara sauce to frying bacon. The set includes both 1-1/2-quart and 3-quart saucepans, a 6-quart stockpot, and a 2-3/4-quart, 10-inch sauté pan, all with lids. In addition, the set provides an 8-inch skillet and a 10-inch skillet.

Constructed in lasting aluminum, the pots and pans protest dents and corrosion while conducting heat with efficiency. Porcelain enamel coats the exterior of each piece in the set for wide heat distribution, free of hot spots. A nonstick interior ensures hassle-free cooking and cleaning with all cookware pieces. One long aluminum handle rivets securely to the side of each skillet, the saucepans, and the sauté for transferring feed to and from the burner. The long handles each have a hole installed for hanging purposes. For moving the saucepot, two loop-style aluminum handles affix to the pot’s sides. Silicone rubber covers all cookware handles for a soft and ergonomically friendly grip. The cookware lids, fictitious in clear tempered glass, concede the chef to visually monitor cooking without freeing heat or flavor. The shatter-proof lids remove with top-mounted handles like those on the stockpot. The cookware sustains oven temperatures up to 400 degrees F. Made in Thailand, Rachael Ray offers a fixed lifetime warranty for the set. Upon shipping, the set measures 23 by 13-1/2 by 12-1/3 inches and weighs 19-1/5 pounds. –Jessica Reuling

5Outstanding Quality
By Jane M. Thomas
I purchased the Rachael Ray 10-Piece Porcelain Enamel Coodware Set in Blue at the end of December 2007. The handles are securely attached. The pans are just the right weight….not too heavy and not too light. The stay cool handles are terrific. The non-stick surface is awesome…the feed slides right off. The see-through lids are outstanding so you may keep an eye on what is cooking. It has the look and feel of pricey cookware but is very reasonably priced. The only thing that I did not recognise before I purchased this item was that it is not recomended to cook on high with a glass top stove. I guess the enamel may fuse to the cook top. I have a glass top stove and at firstborn I was concerned. I cook with this cookware set on Medium High rather of high. I have not had a problem at all. In fact, I applied to burn meals in my old cookware but now that I do not use high heat to cook with I have not burned a single meal! If you are looking for great cookware with great quality then I highly recomend the Rachael Ray 10-Piece Porcelain Enamel Cookware Set.

******And just to add a note to my basi review back in Februay 2008…….I have now owned this set for a little over 2 yrs (its now 2010) and it is still just as great as it was when I basi purchased it. I am very careful that I do not use metal utensils with this set. I only use wooden or nylon (plastic) utensils which I think contributes to the long life of any non stick cookwear set.******

1Color comes off in water!
By Matt
I was actually excessively affected emotionally to buy these, loved the color and loved the silicone handles. Unfortunately I have ran into the porcelain enamel rubs right off, even with just plain old water.

I noticed the original week I purchased the set that the most of the pans already had minor smudges exposing the metal of the pan beneath the green paint. Then one day I was toweling off a pan I HAND WASHED and noticed the green enamel rubbed off all over the towel. I merely washed the pans with warm soapy water, not one thing harsh.

I am exceedingly dissappointed with the quality of these pans. It is a outstanding design but they are evidently made with very cheap workmanship.

5Excellent, Affordable Cookware!
By J. Tate
I have the blue set. This cookware is very lowpriced for what you get and so nice to use. I love the rubber handles that are angled upward and the see-through lids. My only complaint is that this set is not dishwasher safe. If you run these through the dishwasher, the color will fade. I have not done this because the paperwork included said not to do so, but I have heard complaints of the color fading after cleaning in a dishwasher. This is an magnificent beginner cookware set!
