5Great Companion Tool for Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker
By ariel luna
Since you want to keep these things in the freezer all the time, having two is sooo handy. Of course, you need the freezer space for them! But this lets you make back to back batches – without waiting assorted hours for your bowl to refreeze.

5Homemade Ice Cream the Easy Way
By B. Eggleston
We like our Cuisinart ice cream maker so much that we ordered a second freezer bowl. We have owned respective ice cream manufacturers in the past, but the Cuisinart method of freezing the bowl before making the ice cream has minimized the fuss. We may make two batches in less time than the other makes may develop one.

5I love it a lot
By busybody
I purchased the Cuisinart ice cream maker which came with one bowl. But as I always want to keep one reserve bowl in the freezer I ordered this substitute bowl.
It is a great thing; the size fits well into the drawers of the freezer, it freezes fast and exhaustively and it is still frozen when the ice cream is made – so it in truth does not take much time to re-freeze it again completly.
So far I made chocolate, banana, mango, peach, raspberry and pineapple ice cream and I will never ever buy ANY brand of ice cream – it is sooo much better.

3Don’t suppose miracles but the younger kids love it.
By D.A.
My 4 year old and 6 year old love this. The Ice Cream turns out more like an ice cream/yogurt mix. The outside of the cup is hard ice cream and the center is liquid, but they don’t care, it’s the greatest gift Santa gave them.

I’ve found that if you put to much ice in the big cup, the little “ice cream” cup won’t sit in there right, then the lid won’t fit correctly and may cause the leaks I’ve read when it comes to in other reviews. I haven’t had it leak at all.

Compared to the price of the maker, the refills are expensive. However, equated with the price of the maker, it’s all inexpensive.

My bottom line, don’t buy it for a real, finish ice cream maker, it will disappoint, but to have young kids make their own ice cream, it’s a hit. And I personally think it tastes pretty good. We drink almond milk so employed that in it rather of the half and half or whole milk they say tastes the best, so that may also have affected our results. But to us, it’s good stuff.

My complaint was that I lost the instructions and no where online could I find any so I am putting them in this review in case a great deal of one else has the same problem.

*Fill 1/2 to 3/4 of the main cup with ice cubes
*Add salt to the Measuring Cups fill line (clear plastic cup that came with the maker) and pour into Main (large) cup
*Add water to the Measuring Cups fill line and pour into Main Cup
*Place Metal (small) Canister back inside the Main Cup
*Place ice cream flavor in Metal canister
*Add 4 TBSP of milk or half and half and mix thoroughly
*Tightly replace clear inner lid on top of the Metal Canister
*Replace Outer Lid and lock securely (if it doesn’t fit correctly, try removing a little amount of ice)
*Once secured, shake your Ice Cream Maker for regarding 3-4 minutes
*Remove lids and using the Flat End of the Mixing Spoon (red spoon) scrape the inside of the canister walls and mix thoroughly
*Your ice cream is ready

4Great for the price & kids
By T. Wilson
I purchased this for my 9, closely 10, son for Christmas. He LOVES it. He makes his own ice cream at least once a day, which isn’t that much because it only makes regarding 1/2 cup. You don’t need to buy the particular refils to make the ice cream. I buy 1/2 & 1/2, chocolate syrup, frozen strawberries, cookies, nuts, whatever…we were originative and let him go to town. He shakes for in regards to 5 minutes and has ice cream he and his sister love. We’re anxious to undertake it camping since no electricity required!

3Not as good or easy as the real thing
By Amy Peterson
I purchased this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas after seeing the bad reviews for the Dairy Queen Blizzard Maker. She genuinely wanted galore kind of ice cream maker for a present. The actual taste of the ice cream wasn’t bad, but you need to use whole milk or half and half. It states that in the directions, but I was hoping to make it with skim since that is what we buy. Other reviews said that you had to shake it for longer than 4 min and that is utterly true. We ended up passing it around to all of the adults to shake it as our arms got tired. All in all, we shook it for 14 min. We have made all 3 of the ice cream packets that came with the product and I am actually doubting that we will buy more.
