For the size and the money, this is one of the better buys if you are looking for time- and effort-saving device for gourmets.
This feed processor may replace some other tools in the well-equipped chef’s kitchen: Mandoline, Pastry Knives, Potato Masher, to name a few.
Since I begun using the Cuisinart, I have been competent to make well-mixed doughs for perfective pastries and breads, julienned veggies (with a distinguished julienne blade) for crudites, superb mashed potatoes and potatoes au gratin, as well as a great deal of other dishes with a minimum of effort.
The only flaw of the Cuisinart line is the feed tube. While the multiple size feed slots make it easy to push anything from full-size potatoes to drizzling oil to make mayonaise, it may be a major challenge to clean due to the multiple crevices in the feed pusher.
Overall, however, the Cuisinart may make short work of the most elaborated culinary endeavors, with a skillfulness to match a whole counter full of manual tools.

great for bread and everything

Background: I purchased this Cuisinart after reading all the positive reviews on this site. I purchased it mainly for making bread because my mother raves in regards to making bread with hers. I already had a little feed processor for chopping, so I wasn’t too concerned when it comes to that.
Opinion: I have made outstanding bread with this (rustic style) with no problems, and it actually is easy. I genuinely prefer this one to my littler feed processor for chopping, because the blade sits closer to the bottom of the bowl and so is better for chopping little quantities. So far I haven’t gotten the slicer to work as well as it does in the video (things fall sideways in the tube, etc), but I haven’t tried too hard. I only cook for two, and I do not think it is too big. In fact, it’s much better than the littler one because I may slice assorted things into one bowl. Furthermore, I have on occasion found it to be too little (for making cole slaw, for example).
I am here now to get galore further and added blades. I commend getting an additional, thinner slicer blade if you want to make coule slaw. The one that comes with the machine is a little too thick,
