Cuisinart Food Processor 7

ReviewA perfective gift for new homemakers, the feed processor has become an integral portion of modern cooking, speeding up a multitude of processes, including kneading dough, slicing, chopping, shredding cheese, vegetables and meat, mincing garlic and parsley, mixing batters, and emulsifying mayonnaise. Cuisinart’s Pro Classic comes with a 7-cup work bowl, four basic affixations for slicing, shredding, chopping, mixing, and kneading, and big feed tube. This processor comes with a compact cover for use when the feed tube isn’t necessitated and a pulse control that allows the desired degree of fineness when chopping and puréeing. Remove the detachable stem for compact storage of discs. All the constituents are dishwasher-safe and the motor base wipes clean. In addition, a custom-contoured spatula, a 50-page recipe booklet, and a 30-minute video designed to acquaint the new owner with the care and use of the feed processor are included. –Victoria Jenkins

4Useful for a number of chores in the kitchen
By Joanna Daneman
While I normally chop on a plastic cutting board with a big chef’s knife, the Cuisinart makes various tasks a lot easier. Chopping cooked or raw meat is one. If you are making hash from leftover corned beef, a short burst in this feed processor is the easiest way to go. For mixing sure pastry doughs (pie or pate brisee) this is also a very good item to have, altho you have to be careful to go tardily and not overprocess. The one thing the Cuisinart does is heat up the dough if you whirl it around too much, so you have to be careful. And if you put too heavy a bread dough in, using the plastic bread blade, you may heat the shaft up sufficient to jam the blade onto the central post and that’s a huge nuisance. However, with these cautions, the Cuisinart is hands-down my favored feed processor and for shredding, slicing thinly or chopping, gorgeous much the best kitchen appliance for the job.

5great for bread and everything
By Taylor
Background: I purchased this Cuisinart after reading all the positive reviews on this site. I purchased it mainly for making bread because my mother raves when it comes to making bread with hers. I already had a little feed processor for chopping, so I wasn’t too concerned with regards to that.
Opinion: I have made outstanding bread with this (rustic style) with no problems, and it genuinely is easy. I in truth prefer this one to my littler feed processor for chopping, because the blade sits closer to the bottom of the bowl and so is better for chopping little quantities. So far I haven’t gotten the slicer to work as well as it does in the video (things fall sideways in the tube, etc), but I haven’t tried too hard. I only cook for two, and I do not think it is too big. In fact, it’s much better than the littler one because I may slice various things into one bowl. Furthermore, I have once in a while found it to be too little (for making cole slaw, for example).
I am here now to get a lot of further and added blades. I commend getting an additional, thinner slicer blade if you want to make coule slaw. The one that comes with the machine is a little too thick,

5Excellent Addtion to a Gourmet’s Kitchen
By Scott Trulock
For the size and the money, this is one of the better buys if you are looking for time- and effort-saving device for gourmets.

This feed processor may replace a heap of other tools in the well-equipped chef’s kitchen: Mandoline, Pastry Knives, Potato Masher, to name a few.

Since I started out using the Cuisinart, I have been capable to make well-mixed doughs for perfective pastries and breads, julienned veggies (with a discerned julienne blade) for crudites, superb mashed potatoes and potatoes au gratin, as well as galore other dishes with a minimum of effort.

The only flaw of the Cuisinart line is the feed tube. While the multiple size feed slots make it easy to push anything from full-size potatoes to drizzling oil to make mayonaise, it may be a major challenge to clean due to the multiple crevices in the feed pusher.

Overall, however, the Cuisinart may make short work of the most elaborated culinary endeavors, with a skillfulness to match a whole counter full of manual tools.
