I’m hooked on my cuisinart feed processor, but…

I’ve had a Cuisinart feed processor, closely since the brand started to be sold in the United States, which was a lo-o-ong time ago. The Large Pusher Sleeve Assembly used to last as long as the bowl, but not any more. I go through two of these pusher sleeves a year (sometimes 3 if I’m in truth unlucky). Cuisinart ought to be making them out of shoddier plastic than was earlier the case. I’m sticking with the Cuisinart brand (I’ve never had a problem with the feed processor motor), but I wish the company had kept it is firstborn high standards concerning the construct of the machine’s plastic bowl assembly.
The little tips that are portion of the locking mechanism normally break off first, and I may still get the feed processor to work by pushing down on the inner sleeve with my hand, but in the long run the whole plastic tab breaks loose, and then I have to replace the whole big pusher sleeve assembly.
You will see cracks formulate in the whole sleeve right away, and it also discolors rather easily, but you have to have the sleeve in order to run the machine.

Could last longer….

The product works perfectly for with regards to and a half until the clips break on the back of the pusher that hold the pusher down and engage the safety mechanism. Then you have to buy a new pusher. I am now ordering my fourth replacement. Each one has lasted regarding 1.5 years. I am happy with it is function, just not it is durability.

If it’s broke…fix it!

This piece was the only part to our Food Processor that had cracked and become almost unusable. The unit itself is regarding 20 years old, with no issues, so it made no sense to buy another one for $200+. This piece is an basi factory substitute part, not a lot of second-hand cheap knock-off. It’s the real deal and is just a solid as the primary part. We hope to get another 20+ years out of it. For less than $30, it’s a bargain, exceptionally with Amazon’s FREE SHIPPING.
