Cuisinart Popcorn Popper

For the tastiest, healthiest and most natural popcorn, use a hot air popcorn popper. This machine formulates such delicious and crunchy popcorn that it’s easy to get addicted to it. It will pop the kind of popcorn that reminds you of movie houses, TV time with the family and carnivals.

A lot of popcorn lovers eat microwave popcorn. Unfortunately, this is not the most eminent quality popcorn and it is laden with oils and preservation chemicals. All these add to the calorie count of microwave popcorn and are not good for your health. During the popping process, the chemicals and oils will formulate a smell, which will linger in the room for a while. The poorer the ventilation in the room where you’ve placed your microwave, the longer the odor will linger. The best way to prepare popcorn is by use of air poppers. They do not have further and added calories and neither do they give odors when popping.

If you would like to add a great deal of butter to the popcorn, there is a tray at the top of the popper, where you may place butter. The heat of the popper will tardily melt the butter and you may add a heap of to your share of the popcorn when they are ready. You may also season it with as much or little salt as you want.

It is more pricey to make popcorn using the microwave than it is using a hot air popcorn popper. A bag of air popped popcorn is for less than a bag of microwave popcorn. Again, in an air popper, all the kernels pop while in the microwave, a lot of corn goes to waste as not all kernels pop.

If you have been using an oil-coated skillet to make your popcorn, you may want to alternate that with a hot air popcorn popper, peculiarly because the oil on the skillet just adds undesirable calories to your popcorn. Remember with the skillet, you will have to keep adding oil to the pan to keep the popcorn from burning. Popping corn with a skillet is more involving and will also take you longer. In addition to adding oil, you will need to keep shaking the pan perpetually to keep the popcorn from sticking to the pan. With a hot air popcorn popper, you may pop 18 cup of popcorn in 3 minutes!

An air popper is all you need to get enjoyment from snacking on nourishment providing popcorn. Its convenience, economic sense and ease of use make it an beautiful investment.

Well, I surely gave it a reasonable try: popped 3 batches of respective sizes, closely following all directions, using fresh popping corn from two distinguished packages. Results:

1Not what you’d suppose to bear the Cuisinart name
By Michael Eckert
Does a very nice occupation of making popcorn as long as you follow the directions and have quick reflexes. When the popping stops, don’t hesitate.

But … after half a dozen batches, the machine quit working. Apparently the heating element wore out. The person at the 1-800 number confirmed that seemed to occur a lot. In other words, Cuisinart appears to recognise that the thing is a piece of junk. They say they’re going to send us another one — as soon as we determine whether to recompense the postage for it.

1great popcorn! aweinspiring quality
By Abigail Wolfer
This newer model is vastly bettered over the former one which we had to replace three times on the warranty. HOWEVER, there is a part on it inside that breaks VERY effortlessly if you don’t install the plate on the base VERY carefully. The original one broke and was replaced. I only used the second one 3 or 4 times before it broke in incisively the same way.

Their warranty service is very disatisfactory. We have had to remunerate for each substitute at $10 a pop plus the return shipping of the wrong units.

All in all, we have salaried an amount equivalent to at least two units and can not get a substitute without paying more. :-(

I LOVE the popcorn this popper makes. It is a GREAT idea! Just wish the quality were better and that the company did not make you pay to get replacements.
