I purchased this Cuisinart toaster with regards to a month ago. Previously, I owned a cheap Toastmaster two slice toaster that I had since college.
This toaster is compact but has everything you could need. It has slots wide sufficient for homemade bread and bagels, a reheat and defrost button and a cancel button. It is a very powerful toaster for sandwich bread. The initial time I employed it I was too excessively affected emotionally to read the instructions basi so I set the LED dial at 5 which was the level I employed on my Toastmaster. That was a fault because I burnt the toast crisp. This toaster I only have to set to a 2 to get my toast a nice brown shade. It in truth puts off the heat. I don’t eat bagels so I can’t say how it does on them. On Toaster Strudels it works well at a level 4 or 5 setting.
I love this toaster and would buy it again!

Excellent Toaster!

I purchased the Cuisinart CP-120 toaster and I am more than happy with it. The toaster is of high quality and mechanically adjusts to any thickness of bread that you place in it. Also, you will never have to reach down into the toaster to retrieve little pieces of bread because the platform that holds the bread may be brought all the way up to the top of the toaster. It toasts very evenly and the respective settings like “Bagel” and “Defrost” are useful. These settings keep you from ever having to toast an item a 2nd time because it was not done. The outside of the toaster never gets hot, (only warm) so you won’t get burned. The toaster comes in White or Red.

Runs Hot
By P. McWaters
Have been using the new toaster for when it comes to a month. Pros: Nice clean look. Cons: 3 major complaints. 1) It runs way too hot. We initially set it on #4/5, thinking that was middle of the road doneness. Unfortunately my toast looked like it had been cooked in molten lava. We are now using #2 and it seems OK, but I can’t get the toaster waffles to come out right. (In case you are wondering, Yes, I read the manuals that come with appliances). 2) Slots not long enough. I am not buying “Special” bread, just stuff off the racks at the local supermarket and it doesn’t fit in the slots. The toaster will handle a “girthy” bagel, but not a wide piece of bread. Weak. 3) The dial is genuinely lame. You think a high-tech LCD readout when buying the toaster, but it is genuinely just a lighted dial.
Bottom Line: The toaster works, but I would not buy it again, nor commend it to others.
