The kid in you will be grateful for how quick and easy it is to mix up a batch of cookie dough. This model comes with three attachments: a flat beater for making batter, meat loaf, and all textures in-between; a wire whip for egg whites, mayonnaise, and more air-infused creations; and a hook for mixing and kneading yeast doughs. All three are solidly constructed and effortlessly secured to the beater shaft with a simple twist. This model also includes a pouring shield for guiding ingredients to their proper destination, and the bowl itself locks tight to the base. Standing with regards to 15 inches high, jutting out a foot, and weighing more than a grown woman’s bowling ball, this stand mixer isn’t the sort of appliance you’ll wipe down and put away. KitchenAid Stand Mixer

After studying buyer reviews (online and magazine), I purchased the KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer. It’s so much more powerful and better designed than the one it replaced, but my primary experience was disappointing. I necessitated to make a meringe using two eggs. The wire whip beater just skimmed over the top of the whites and didn’t start out to beat them. According to the manual, the factory setting for the beater height most times needs to be raised so that the flat beater doesn’t hit the side of the bowl. My problem was the opposite, so, using a flathead screwdriver, I had to turn the screw to lower the beater height so that the wire whip would reach egg whites, then check the flat beater to make sure that it would still clear the side of the bowl! No one has ever noted this, but I’m sure I’m not unique. Otherwise, this mixer lives up to it is reputation and I love the silver finish, which matches my stainless steel appliances!

Beautiful Color of a Classic Machine

Gorgeous color. High performance which we all suppose from the KichenAid. I gave this to my daughter for her 21st birthday at her request. Now she may make all those cookie recipes that we made together on MY 20 year old KitchenAid. Unmatched Quality. Has stood the test of time and multiple generation now love this mixer.

Everyone adores this mixer; I am no exception!

I highly commend this mixer! I have wanted one of these gorgeous KitchenAid mixers for so long, and this year I at last asked every one in my family to pool their gift cash and buy it for me for Christmas. I have been using it non-stop since I received it, and the quality is everything everyone says and more. The metal bowl and affixations are so easy to clean, and the machine is fabulously powerful.

Since there are already so a heap of reviews of the product, I’ll just add a word when it comes to the colors: My husband insisted that we go look at them in the division stores before ordering from Amazon, and I’m so glad that we did because in person the colors don’t always look the way you would think, based on photos from Amazon or the KitchenAid website. I, for example, was in the first place set on the Surf Green color, but when I saw it in person, it was much darker than I’d expected. By the same token, the Blue was lighter than I’d expected, and the Tangerine was much more likeable that I would have thought. I ultimately ordered this mixer in Ice, and I am so happy with my choice! The color is so cheerful and just bright sufficient without taking over the kitchen. Anyway, the moral of the story is, if you may go look at them in person before buying, I’d in truth commend it.
