Rival Ice Cream Freezers

ReviewFor a century and a half, since a woman in New York devised the hand-crank freezer, making ice cream has been an American family value. Mom blended the ice cream mixture; Dad filled the maker’s wooden tub with ice and rock salt to achieve the below-freezing temperature necessitated to formulate smooth confections; kids clamored to turn the crank; and every one happily consumed big bowls of ice cream as a reward. This family-bonding action remains as vibrant today as it was through a century-and-a-half of “progress.” With respective ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sherbet recipes included, this old-fashioned White Mountain ice cream maker maintains the tradition. Only the use of progressed stainless steel for the freezer may and dasher and the electric motor distinguish this rugged maker from the one earlier generations enjoyed. And years from now it will still be used, knitting together a family’s history. –Fred Brack

5Incredible client service
By K. Wright
I do not forget from a very young age my parents making unbelievable ice cream out of a White Mountain. In the past 15 years, I tried using 3 dissimilar types of ice cream manufacturers but it was never the same as my mothers. She always told me it was because of her White Mountain. So, I purchased one! I had a problem with the bucket which apparently is exceedingly rare. My mom had hers for over a decade. I contacted the company. I didn’t have a receipt or other proof of purchase. They in a literal sense mailed me a new one (after two years of use) without proof of purchase! Then, they mailed me a label to send back the wrong one. This one looks outstanding and works well also. Here are a great deal of tips:

5Great Product!!
By Philip Deatherage
I would nicely like to disagree with the review above. We have two ice cream manufacturers and if you take care of them the right way they will last forever. We have had one for over 15 years and the bucket is still good. All that need to be done is for the bucket to be washed out after use. I commend this great product!

5Absolutely the BEST
By Green Day Nut
Simply put, an awful churn for home-made ice cream. I have an old hand-crank that I had always used to make the best ice cream, but it was a lot of work – churning fast at the beginning and then decelerating down as the cream transformed. With this churn, the motor is variable in it is speed and churns at an splendid fast speed to begin; then, as the cream solidifies and freezes, the motor changes pitch and slows down to give you a marvelously whipped and smooth cream. I even made ice cream using just whole milk and peppermint sticks and it still turned out great. Highly commended and much better than any other electric churn you may buy. I’ve had two other electric churns – neither of them could hold a candle to the White Mountain.
