4Tramontina vs All Clad
By B. Hamilton
After purchasing an All Clad 10-inch omlette pan earlier in the year, I decisive that I wanted to replace most of the Magnelite coated aluminium pots and pans that I have owned for the past 20 years. The Magnelite pans are functional, but the internal coating on the pots is beginning to erode and I have found myself using non-stick pans more and more often.

Okay, initially I was disappointed with the Tramontina as I thought the handles were more or less dissimilar and the mold of the pans was inferior to the All Clad. I got over that within the day and I am exceedingly happy with the Tramontina stainless steel / aluminium core set that I purchased.

One continuing reservation is restraint on keeping the temperature fixed to medium heat in order to prevent “rainbowing” or hurt to the mirror-like stainless coating on the outside of the pans. I cheat and at times increase the temperate to high and then reduce to medium. Someday, I suppose to forego the mirror finish and get on with cooking at a higher temperature once again.

5Love These Pans
By supercook
I purchased my Tramontina set with regards to a year ago. I loved them then and I still love them now. They are so easy to clean. Once you get used to using a lower setting on your stove, don’t use high, you’ll find they cook so much more evenly. I did not get the teflon coating and the clean up is so easy, use a little barkeeps friend on them , they will shine up like new each time. i would highly commend them
