4Looks outstanding on a counter, works well
By Steven M. Palmer
Pros:
Excellent appearance, one of the few appliances I have out on my counter, get compliments/questions frequently.
Works well (makes a outstanding cinnamon chocolate ice cream!)
Great warranty
Very lasting ice bowl

Cons:
Even with a solid freeze of the bowl you’ll need to put the ice cream in the freezer for an hour or two afterwards. Just too soft for more than a little taste.
Slightly cheap inner ice cream mixer apparatus (plastic on plastic gears/blades)
Any heavy mixings added towards end still fall to bottom due to soft consistency and poor stirring

5So far, so good!
By Discerning Mom
I’ve only employed this once, to make plain vanilla ice cream (following the recipe in the manual), and the ice cream was excellent. Like other machines out there, it is a bit deceiving to think you may have fresh ice cream made in 30 minutes; the reality is the inside container will have to be frozen for hours before-hand, and a lot of recipes require that the mix be refrigerated for various hours before being made. It is likewise a somewhat deafening machine while in use, so I won’t be using it when my children are sleeping. The end result, however, is very good.

I was looking for a alternate for our old salt and ice electric ice cream maker. I indispensable tried a Lello maker with it is own compressor, but did not have luck with freezing. My second buy is this Cuisinart ICE-35 and I am very happy with it.
TIPS: Freeze bowl in the back of your freezer or deep freeze it for 24 hours and chill the mix beforehand.

By doing this, I was capable to make two successive batches without re-freezing the bowl. DO NOT nonetheless undertake to add any mix to a batch already started. Wait until one finishes, empty it then pour in second.

Also, I would like to add that my family did not care for the vanilla recipe included in the given booklet.

Did not give it a 5 star rating because the the ice cream is not the same smoothness as say DQ.
